Critical

It’s critical to understand,
there is evil in this world.
Not just mean speech.
Pure evil .
The same evil that
was cast out of heaven.
It dwells behind a smiling face.
Residing in the heart of
Men and women.
They nurture each other’s
depravity as a trinket
Of success.
Lying is beneficial to
those whose ears enjoy
platitudes of the callous
niceties beholden to
Their oath of office.
There is only one way
to defeat this kind of evil.
Fasting and prayer.
